Life is like a candle once it’s lit it must reduce,
It’s the given victory of a candle
that’s in use,
The proof of a candle glowing, is
in its nature,
How can a candle do its work and
not grow smaller?
Yet the mystery of the candle
remains ever sure,
As it decreases in itself, its
light remains pure.
When the candle was first lit it
gave off glowing light,
But see, though it is smaller, its
glow remains still bright;
Yes, your life is like a candle,
lit with Jesus’ Light,
When for Him you spend your life,
you’re doing what is right.
