Obedience

OBEDIENCE – Obedience pleases God. Part obedience is pure disobedience to God. God is specifically detailed, when He tells His people, including you and me, that they are not to add or subtract anything from what He has commanded them. Learn from King Saul, whom God sent on mission with specific instructions. On his return from that mission Samuel meets him and asks him, why he didn’t obey the Lord.  Saul was quick to say that he did obey the Lord, for he went on the mission and has returned victorious. However, he failed to destroy everything as God commanded. Never be deceived! Obedience is required by God in big and small matters.

 

Let me never add or subtract an iota, to or from Your Word, Holy God. Amen!
