WHAT'S THE STATUS OF YOUR WATER

Exodus 15:23 “When they came to Marah they could not drink the water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.)”  

John 4: 14 “Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”   

 Just what is the status of your water?

It will be known in your time of Marah,

The place where the water is all bitter,

Unfit, as any human thirst quencher.

But if from Jesus, His water you take,

In you a spring of water it will make,

Welling up in you to life eternal, 

To all who drink His water spiritual;

And since our Lord never makes empty claim,

As He speaks on oath by His Holy Name,

All those who this life- giving water drink,

Will not to despair, in their Marah sink;

For there’ll be no need to suffer the thirst,

In a Marah place that makes things the worst;

Though in a place where its water’s bitter,

You’ll not thirst; you have Christ’s living water.
