ASCENSION PROMISE – On the day of His ascension, Jesus’ disciples lost sight of Him, as a cloud blocked them from seeing what was taking place. Two men dressed in white came and stood beside them. The two made a promise to them that Jesus was going to return. It is your promise also. Because of this promise of Jesus’ return, you should live as the Lord’s faithful, obedient disciple, ready and happy to receive Him again.
Lord, keep me always ready and prepared for Your return, Amen!
