Leave Where You Are

 

Leave where you are and go to where I send,

My Spirit on you will wait and attend,

He is My Gift, My power indwelling,

Let Him in you be your sole compelling.

 

Leave where you are and seek My plan and will,

My Spirit in you will lead and instill,

He is My Guide, My words He is speaking,

Let Him in you be your daily seeking.

 

Leave where you are and know heart and mind,

My Spirit in you will make you refined,

He is My Guard, My works He’s performing,

Let Him in you be your sure transforming.

 

Leave where you are in control, self and pride,

My Spirit in you will be at your side,

He is My Gate, My bounty revealing,

Let Him in you be your faith believing.

 

Leave where you are and go to where I say,

My Spirit in you will help you obey,

He is My Good, My Person and Presence,

Let Him in you be your daily guidance.
