NO DOUBLE PUNISHMENT – Are you double punishing a brother, or sister or friend even, because of some wrong against you? The offender has been punished, but are you still holding ought against that person? Are you making sly remarks; leaving that person out of your social gatherings; speaking what is absolutely necessary and nothing more? All you are doing is double punishing that person who has already been punished. Refrain from such an attitude for it does not please the Lord.
Holy Lord, remind me that I am a forgiven person. Show me how You honour my penitence and do not condemn me. May I treat the one who has offended me with Your Love. Amen!
