Open the pages of your heart,
Leaf through every single part,
Let no word or thought or deed,
Be the object to impede,
God’s command to you today,
To walk in His appointed way.

Of a mind like Christ more near,
For His word your heart doth hear,
Listen now, He speaks clearly,
To each heart that loves Him dearly.
Open the pages of your
heart,
Don’t let His Word from you depart,
In your sleeping and your waking,
In your crying and your laughing,
Be assured, God’s Word is firm,
He will in you His Works confirm.
Open the pages of your
heart,
Wisdom in you He will impart,
Let His teaching be your guide,
From all else just turn aside,
Rejoice O heart, that every page,
Your Lord and Master doth engage.
