ANOINT ME LORD

 

This day O Lord, my life anoint,

As You some work to me appoint,

Bless me to do what ere You will,

A void in some lone soul to fill,

A word, a deed, a prayer or song,

To make the weak faith, full and strong;

Anoint my head, give me the mind,

That alone in Jesus I find;

Anoint my lips that I may speak,

Truth and life to all who seek;

Anoint my hands Your works to do,

To the sick who's asking for You;

Anoint my feet in faith to go,

To those I know and do not know;

Anoint my life, I'm not my own,

To You, I live and love, alone.
