BE GODLY - I don’t know what image you have of a godly person, but the sad reality is that there are not too many genuine godly people around. Too many variants of godly have found place in the church, so that what is being offered as godly, becomes a person’s choice. We pride ourselves in not being ungodly people, for we are not devil worshippers and we don’t go around, without conscience, stealing from people, for example. However, there is much more, for the truly godly person is obedient to the Lord’s Abiding Spirit.
Lord, I am ungodly, but with Your Indwelling Spirit controlling my surrendered life, He will lead me aright. Amen!
