CURSE OF THE LAW – When Moses gave the children of God the Law from God, he was clear in telling them that they had to follow it all. To keep some laws and stumble on other laws made a person a law breaker. When, from Mt. Ebal, Moses read out the list of things which were sure to bring curses upon them, sure enough, one curse dealt with failing to keep the whole law.
God knows that because you are a sinful human being, prone to error, there is no way that you can avoid the curse of the Law, on your own efforts. That is why He has given you Jesus, to be the person whom you follow and obey. He has broken the curse of law for you.
Redeeming Saviour, thank You. I owe my life to You. Amen!
