LAW VERSUS LOVE – The experiences of Jesus with people, who lived by the letter of the law, is still the experience of many in whom the Spirit lives. When Law is your Master it is extremely difficult for you to accept the grace of Love.
It’s the Sabbath and Jesus sees a person in need. Jesus has no problem in helping the needy one, but He is a problem to those of Law. Is Jesus a problem to you in the things He does and the words He speaks? Is the Spirit of the Lord too free and spontaneous for you? Remember that Law and Love never can agree.
Jesus, I really can’t handle Your free Spirit, so I’m asking that You save me from my binding, blocking lawfulness and free me to follow You, please. Amen!
