Sign of Redemption

SIGN OF REDEMPTION – Long ago in Israel, for the redemption and transfer of property to be finalized, the exchange of a sandal was necessary. In other words, both the seller and the buyer of the redeemed property shared something in common – one side of a shoe. How does this relate to Jesus and His redemption of you? He is the Buyer for He bought you with His priceless Blood. Love is what Jesus wore and Love is what He gave to the world. Love is the ‘sandal’ Jesus has given  to the world.

 

Lord Jesus, You gave Love to the world, but the world continues to deny Your Love. As one redeemed, may I never take Your Love for granted. Amen!
