HONOUR YOUR PARENTS – Yes, this is one of the Ten Commandments and most people honour their parents. However, there are children who honour mother, but not father because of the horrible things fathers have done to them and the family on a whole. This may also be the case on the flip side, where mothers are not honoured. As difficult as this may be, our Lord reminds us that we are to honour them, not because they are good or bad, but because they are the ones through whom you came into this world.
Beg God to help you to look beyond the faults of mothers and fathers that you can give them the respect God wishes you to have for them. Amen!
