Bearing Shame

BEARING SHAME – Sometimes, as disciples of Jesus, we too have to bear ridicule, jeering, name-calling and more from those who are enemies of the Cross of Christ. It hurts and grieves your heart even more, when this hostile behaviour is coming from those you know and love – your own. Do not be dismayed. Jesus came to His own people and His own refused to receive Him. Your Lord is not asleep. He is fully aware of your treatment and is walking with you holding you up proudly.
