Holy God, ceaseless praise to You abound,
Let rejoicing voices to You resound,
God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost,
By Your terrestrial and celestial host,
May all glory, laud and honour ring through,
Mighty God in all You say and You do;
You send down Your rain on the earth to fall,
We awaken to its sound with enthrall:
Holy God, You have cradled us in praise,
Awesome praise and thanks to You Lord, we raise.
Holy God, we offer praise unending,
As we awaken to the rain descending,
Rain active and praising in various tones,
Zealously falling on both soil and stones,
You include us in its praises to share,
By affording us ears, their songs to hear,
You send the showers upon earth to dress,
We listen and our humbled hearts You bless:
Holy God, You have cradled us in praise,
Awesome praise and thanks to You Lord, we raise.
Holy God, continuous praise we echo,
Your loving children in the earth below,
Following the rains ere darkness or light,
Singing their praises with all of their might,
E’en in our darkness we’ll follow and praise,
With every word we speak and every phrase,
Your Spirit falls on us with quickening,
What response have we? Only rejoicing:
Holy God, You have cradled us in praise,
Awesome praise and thanks to You Lord, we raise.
