Save Me

 

 

Cover me Lord with Your own precious blood,

Cleanse me Jesus in the fresh cleansing flood,

Save me from self-ways, self-will, each self-deed,

Please Holy Jesus for me intercede.

 

Feed me Lord Jesus with Your body and blood,

Clothe me completely as my feet You shod,

Save and prepare me to spread Your Gospel,

Please Holy Jesus let me Your Love tell.

 

Wash me Lord Jesus with Your pure shed blood,

Clean me Lord, as this earthly path I trod,

Save me from the evil accuser’s tongue,

Please Holy Jesus, save me from all wrong.

 

Stain me Lord Jesus with Your crimson blood,

Comfort me ever with Your staff and rod,

Save me from all that will turn me aside,

Please Holy Jesus, in You I’ll abide.
