CHECK PLEASE – There are occasions such as now, when we need to stop and make a careful check of ourselves. This check-list is advanced by David of those who are Sanctuary dwellers. Such a person walks blamelessly, does what is right, speaks truth from the heart, has no slandering tongue, is not reproachful, does no evil to a neighbour, despises the vile but honours all who fear the Lord, who keeps a word of promise, who lends without usury and refuses to accept bribes. Can you honestly check these off in yourself?
Heavenly Lord, help me to check myself please, for if I am true I too will never be shaken. Amen!
