HOW LONG – There are times when we cry out in utter distress to God, asking Him how long must we continue in our present states. Whether it’s an issue of health, which we have been battling for years; whether it is a domestic problem that’s wearing us down; or perhaps it’s our worsening financial status which threatens to make us lose all that we worked so hard to achieve; whatever it is, we have come to the point when we can carry the burden no more and we cry out like David, How long, O Lord, how long? Yes, cry out to Him. He will hear and help as He did for David.
Father, our Father in heaven, look down with pity upon me and deliver me. Amen!
