Who show love and care in the things
that they do,
Men who acknowledge the gift of
parenthood,
Those whom their role as father have
understood.
Thank You for their example which all
can see,
For all their loyal, honest sincerity,
Men who’ve shouldered their
responsibility,
So children don’t grow up in futility.
Thank you for those who don’t their
children provoke,
Who the ways of love in their children
evoke,
Fathers who go beyond their call of
duty,
Spreading fatherly love in all its
beauty.
Thank You for the fathers who show no
concern,
For by prayer we ask, they have changed
hearts and learn,
To listen, hear and heed, and Your ways
obey,
Seeking repentance from their misguided
way.
Thank You for them there can be
intercession,
Pardon and forgiveness for each
transgression,
For fathers are a blessing a gift to
all,
Lord hear us, as for truant fathers we
call.
Thank you for fathers the good ones and
the bad,
Those who bring us joy and those who
make us sad,
Bless every father, wherever he may be,
Through them we want our heavenly Father
to see.
Amen!
