Receive Jesus

RECEIVE JESUS – Have you ever had the sad experience of going to visit family and when you get there, all excited to see them and be with them, your reception is less than desirable? Their hospitality is pure hostility and your welcome is most unwelcoming.  It is one thing for strangers to treat you in this manner, but a whole different thing for your own to do this to you. Do you know that this is precisely what happened to Jesus when He came to His own? He was treated worse than a stranger and an alien. Do you realize that you belong to Jesus, for you are His own? How is your reception of Jesus, as He comes to you daily in many forms? 

 

Dear Jesus, my Brother and Friend, I accept You even now. Amen!
