Bread On The Table

 

Exodus 40: 23. And set out the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD commanded him.

 

There’s bread on the table as the Lord commands,

Bread for all hungry for the Lord understands,

That many are in need of His saving grace,

He’s provided for all, in His chosen place.

 

There’s bread on the table, free to be taken,

Bread from the Father that’s openly given,

For those who are weary, tired and worn out,

Each will be fed that’s what His grace is about. 

 

There’s bread on the table, none need go hungry,

Don’t you know the Lord says to all, come to Me?

Come in your broken down and disheveled state,

Feed, know refreshing, He with you can relate.

 

There’s bread on the table, it’s the Lord’s command,

Bread on the table as the Sovereign Lord planned,

That, all who truly for His Living Word long,

Will partake and know that to Him, they belong.
