DEAD FAITH – Okay, you claim to have faith, but is your faith living or dead? Many a person claims to have a flashlight or lamp, but are the batteries alive or dead? Maybe this has been your experience like many, who have been caught during blackouts, with beautiful flashlights that are dead to them, due to dead batteries. Just as batteries are to your lamp so is faith to you. Just as without working batteries, the flashlight will not be pleasing to you or anyone else, in darkness, so too is your faith. Without working faith, which is dead faith, you will not be pleasing to God, or anyone else. Faith dies and dies over and over again, if it is not exercised daily.
Show me Lord that dead faith exists and is most displeasing to You. Amen!
