Jesus

 

Jesus whose light is never dim,

Honour and praise let’s give to Him,

Name above all, beyond compare,

There’s none like Jesus we declare. 

 

Jesus whose love is never lost, 

Went to the cross despite the cost,

How can we find a better friend?

O give Him thanks that have no end.

 

Jesus, whose trust is tried and true,

Believe what He says, He will do,

Nothing He speaks is ever vain,

In Him, true life is what we gain.

 

Jesus whose joy is all complete,

Nought of earth can with it compete,

Joy, bringing God’s eternal bliss,  

Was there ever heart-joy like this?

 

Jesus whose peace is surpassing,

Welcoming and all embracing,

Transcending all earth’s pain and strife,

Offering us eternal life.

 

Jesus whose way is truth and light,

Faith in Him brings Him pure delight,

Faith that dares His words to believe,

Will each promise of His receive.
