Why Are You Doing That?

WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT? – Are you engaged in doing something so unusual that you are stopped and questioned, because it seems that you are stealing another person’s property? Why are you doing that? Nevertheless, it’s not the action, but the authority behind the action, which makes it all legitimate, true and right. Jesus has sent two of His disciples to go to a certain place and bring Him a colt. They obey, but while untying it the owners see them and ask what they were doing. All they said was, the Lord needs it and that was sufficient. Who or what is your authority for doing what seems like a bad thing? May Jesus always be your one and only authority in all you do.

Make me brave and bold to do any work for You, Lord Jesus. Amen!
