A ZACCHAEUS CALL – What is a Zacchaeus call? It is the call of Jesus for one who is hiding up in a tree, trying to see Jesus, to come down. Are you as a Zacchaeus, desirous of seeing Jesus, but unable to do so because of your less than acceptable moral stature? Are you kept at bay, because the crowds are too large and people don’t like you because of your unscrupulous, unjust, exploitive ways? Like Zacchaeus, Jesus calls you into the open, not to stand with the name-calling crowd, but stand by His side and walk with Him to your home. When Jesus calls your name to come down from your sinful, cheating ways, rejoice and be glad. Salvation has come to you and yours.
Jesus! Who is a loving and pardoning God like You? Thank You for grace and mercy. Amen!
