Resist Idolatry

RESIST IDOLATRY – Idolatry is as the sin of divination and it is to be cut in the bud as soon as you recognize it. Resist it with all your might, for God’s wrath against any form of idolatry is heavy. Paul and Barnabas, mighty men of God, are in Lystra, where Paul heals a disabled man. The people begin to worship them as gods, giving them names of gods. When Paul and Barnabas hear what’s taking place they quickly tore their clothes and put an immediate end to such. Your experience may not be as pronounced and glaring, nevertheless, make your response as strong.

 

Holy Father make me ever quick and ready to remove all idolatry. Amen!
