Lay Them Before Me

 

Lay down before Me your burdens and cares,

Bring to Me all of your worries and fears,

I am your God, your watch and your helper,

As heavenly Father, I’m your keeper.

 

Be not anxious with the trials you face,

I have apportioned you sufficient grace,

Mercy and grace beyond all you merit,

Won’t you to Me every worry submit?

 

I ask you, not for your enduring strength,

But every weakness, in full depth and length,

Keep nothing from Me, whether big or small,    

Throw everything at Me, I want them all.

 

Don’t try to be strong when you know you’re weak,

Be honest, come as you are and Me seek,

E’en before you speak one trembling word,

Each unspoken word I’ve already heard.

 

Give them all over, I have told you to,

No burdens and trials can come to you,

Without My knowledge and My sanctioning,

I know exactly what I am doing.

 

Lay them all before Me, leave none behind,

Believe what I tell you and you will find,

My embracing strength will not let you fall,

I AM your Father, your One all in all.
