Participating In Christ's Suffering

PARTICIPATING IN CHRIST’S SUFFERING – It is a blessed privilege and honour to be chosen and called to share in the suffering of Christ Jesus. Peter tells us that no believer, servant or disciple of Jesus should be surprised at his or her painful suffering, as though it were something strange. It is natural and they ought to rejoice in such suffering, because they will be overjoyed when Christ’s glory is revealed.   Is this your life at the moment? Then you have been given privilege to participate in the suffering of Christ Jesus.

 

Teach me to recognize undeserved privilege in suffering for You Jesus, and lead me into daily rejoicing, to be able to participate in this way. Amen!
