BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVOURED – In recent times, many people, whether they believe strongly in Jesus or not, have taken up this phrase. Blessed and highly favoured. When asked how they are, the quick response is, I’m too blessed to be stressed, or I’m highly favoured. Perhaps you also repeat these and other similar phrases. I think of Mary, when I hear those phrases being glibly bandied about. She was blessed and highly favoured because she was chosen to give birth to Jesus. What makes you highly favoured and blessed?
Sovereign God, let me know what blessed and highly favoured is in Your service, please. Amen!
