WHEN THE OLD DIES 

When the old year dies the new is given birth,

The Giver of the New Year gives what is of worth,

Step through the dying year, leaving old things behind,

Face the New Year with Christ Jesus and you will find,

All fear of the future loses its strong hold,

In Jesus, you’re made victorious, brave and bold.

 

Creator, Father God, the old and new are in Your Hands, help me to trust You as the New Year is ushered in. As You will Father, I obey. Amen!
