Accepting God's Favour

ACCEPTING GOD’S FAVOUR – God has been good to you and you acknowledge it. Oftentimes, when you are asked the question, how you are doing, your response is similar to this one. You may not use these exact words, but the sentiments are pretty much the same. You are pleased to respond with these words. I am blessed and favoured. Indeed, God does give you favour, but what is your life’s response? Is it anything like Ruth’s response to Boaz who accepts the ease he has given her and acknowledges her utter unworthiness? 

 

Holy Jesus, grant me the humility to accept Your favour. Lord, each time I receive, let me recognize my unworthiness. May I be eternally grateful to You. Amen!
