Looking For Signs

LOOKING FOR SIGNS – From Jesus’ day and even before, people have been very interested in supernatural signs of the times. No doubt, you are too. However, your interest and curiosity must exceed that of the Pharisees and the Sadducees. These teachers and leaders of their day, wanted a sign from Jesus, but for ugly motives. They were not at all genuine, for their only intention was to test Jesus. Jesus saw through their façade and exposed them. You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. Matthew 16: 3b. Seeking signs from Jesus is not wrong. What is wrong is our motivesl.

 

Lord, guide my thoughts and my heart that I may know what to ask for and when and how.. Amen!
