WHERE IS YOUR MIND SET – Our minds are either set on earthly things, good or bad, or they are set on heavenly things. Paul is very concerned about this and he is very open about many who live as enemies of the cross of Christ. These are people, many who profess to be followers of Jesus, who live as though their citizenship is on earth not in heaven. Don’t follow the populace and set your mind on earthly things. If you do, you will receive as they do. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Philippians 3: 19a. Ensure that your mind is set on heavenly things.
Lord Jesus, I confess that I can be easily fooled. Help me and save me from folly. Amen!
