Contemptuous Behaviour

CONTEMPTUOUS BEHAVIOUR – Never treat the Lord’s offering with contempt because He will not excuse you. Such a sin is very grave in the sight of the Lord. Take warning from the wicked sons of the high priest, Eli. They did not respect and serve God as their father did. Yes, they were priests, wearing priestly garments and doing priestly work, but they did everything contrary to what they were taught. Their punishment was not spared. To be contemptuous is to put yourself in the place of God, in big and small ways.

 

Lord, teach me humility and graciousness please. Amen!
