Whose Image

WHOSE IMAGE – In whose image are you walking? Whether consciously or unconsciously, who are others seeing in you? When John the Baptist was no longer on the scene, Jesus became public and His Name became well-known. People were saying that John had been raised from the dead and that was why miraculous powers were at work in Jesus. But when Herod heard about this Jew and His men, and the work they were doing, he was sure that John, the person he beheaded, had been raised from the dead. He saw John’s perfect image in Jesus. Whose image are people seeing in you? Pray God that it is Jesus.

 

Father, I know that I carry many images depending on my human status. Help me to deny me and receive all of You. Amen!
