When in Thy
Name O Lord we come,
Forgiven all
our sins, not some,
We cannot but
bend low the knee,
Worshipping
Saviour, only Thee,
For You and
You alone are true,
We only seek
to follow You.
When in Thy
Name we cry aloud,
As dark
clouds come Your sight to shroud,
Your Name is
all we know and speak,
Faithful, You
yet uphold the weak,
Name above
all, to You we pray,
You only are
salvation’s way.
When in Thy Name You grant us grace,
Whatever is our present place,
Your righteousness upholds us still,
In Your great providence, Your will,
Naught of evil’s in You Jesus,
Thus for our good, You work for us.
When in Thy Name, our souls are saved,
We will no longer be enslaved,
By sinful self, and earthly lust,
As You make us, fit, right and just,
Molding us to be Your pleasure,
According to Your full measure.
When in Thy Name we look to You,
Please Jesus, all our lives renew,
Let none of self, remain to rule,
As we find delight in Your school,
Teach us as You alone can teach,
So that each stubborn heart You’ll reach.
In Thy Name we come Lord Jesus,
With praises loud and copious,
Our hearts are thankful to the core,
We want to love You more and more,
Grant us Lord the grace to serve You,
In all we think and speak and do.
Amen!
