HELP YOUR NEEDY ENEMY – Jesus’ ways are never ours and He is not afraid to command us in His ways. It is a natural thing for us to want nothing to do with our enemies. If they are in need, our natural instinct is to leave them alone. But Jesus calls us to help any enemy of ours, who is in need. We are to feed them, if they are hungry, and offer something to drink, if they are thirsty. Only faith allows us to obey in this.
Heavenly Father, this does not come naturally to me and so I ask for Your help, to humble me into obedience. Amen!
