OWN UP TO YOUR SIN – A most deceitful lie which we live, is that of not taking full responsibility for our sins and owning up to them. Learn from David, a man after God’s own heart, but a sinner, nonetheless. When, through His messenger, God confronted David of his gross sin, David accepted that he did wrong, confessed his sin and sought God’s forgiveness. What’s your attitude when you have done wrong?
Do you blame your actions on people and circumstances? Take full responsibility for your sins and seek God’s pardon.
Holy, Lord God, I confess that I have sinned against You and others, big time. Please forgive me and teach me true repentance. Amen!
