Regard For God

REGARD FOR GOD – When we have no regard for someone, our behaviour towards that person is one of total, disregard, disrespect and dishonour. In the things we do and the words we speak, we show open lack of thought or heart for that person. Do we have regard for our God? Many of us, who worship God and are called by His Name, are quick to respond that we do regard God. Beware! Make sure it cannot be proven of us that we are like Eli’s sons, who were scoundrels; they had no regard for the LORD. 1 Samuel 2: 12b. Let us always ask the Holy Spirit, to save us from such a sin.

Holy Spirit, Teacher and Guide, we plead with You, to have compassion on us and save us from the temptation to disregard our God, even in small ways. Amen!
