RETURN TO GOD – God is Love. God is merciful. God is forgiving. God knows the fickleness of His children and He is always drawing their attention to their adulterous and idolatrous ways. God’s heart is for them to repent and return to Him. He is the same God who keeps calling us, His sinful children, to repentance. Nonetheless, too many of us become arrogant and self-sufficient in our wicked ways, and refuse to see ourselves as God sees us. Therefore, we see no need for repentance as God calls. This angers God as the Israelites angered Him long ago. Repent or prepare to meet your God.
Save us from Your wrath and anger Lord! Spare us Lord, for we repent and return to You. Amen!
