SPECIAL PRAYERS – Often, people ask for special prayers, for various and different reasons. On other occasions, special prayers are given as the norm. This is evidenced in the early Church, when seven men, known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom, Acts 6: 3b, were chosen for the work of distributing food. When these men were presented to the apostles, they prayed for them and laid their hands on them. Indeed, special prayers can include the laying on of hands.
Lord, unless I know Your Hand upon me, how can I do Your will and Your work? Lay Your Hand on my life please. Amen!
