SUFFERING AND GLORY – In this world, suffering is no respecter of persons. Many believe that suffering comes as a result of God’s wrath or punishment. Suffering comes to all, believers and non-believers alike, because this is a broken, sinful world and suffering is a part of this world’s evils. If, through faith in Christ, you have been justified, then you will know the peace of God in all circumstances, even when you have to suffer. Victoriously, we too, like Paul can say, I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8: 18. Suffering, in Christ and for Christ, leads to glory.
Teach me Lord, to be like You in suffering and not become a complainer. Amen!
