PRAYING AMISS - Darkness of arrogance, ignorance, pride, self-worth, self-piety and more, are all around us and within us. These are some of the evil culprits which cause us to pray amiss and so forfeit all the power, peace, pardon and produce of prayer. We pray night and day, beating our spiritual chests, but alas, we do not receive the promises of prayer. To pray in the flesh, without the help of the Holy Spirit, is to pray in stubborn defiance of God’s Will and Way.
Holy Spirit, may we be ever conscious that prayer which excludes You, is pure folly. Amen!
