THE LORD’S TABLE – The table of our Lord makes quite a spectacular show. It is one which will cause those who are schooled and ruled by law to become most indignant, angry and antagonistic towards the Lord Jesus. However, that same table will cause those who are schooled and ruled by grace, to become most exuberant, happy, and appreciative towards the Lord Jesus. For the righteous, who see themselves as okay, a table where all kinds of people are seated together, is one that repels them. To the sinner, such a table is inviting.
Thank You for Your open table Lord. Thank You that it includes me. Amen!
