ASCENDED JESUS – The Ascension and commemoration of the Risen Jesus, on this day, is celebrated by many believers. Jesus’ Ascension is of ongoing importance to our spiritual lives. It is because He went back to the Father in heaven, God, the Holy Spirit, could come in unprecedented power in the lives of believers. Without Jesus’ Ascension, there would be no day of Pentecost and no coming and receiving of the promised Gift of God. Pray the Father that Jesus has ascended in your heart, so that you may know the full indwelling of His Holy Spirit.
Ascend O gracious Lord, in my heart and soul that I may know Your dwelling, within. Amen!
