LIFE’S VICISSITUDES - When the vicissitudes of life are weighing you down, when fear is at the entrance of your door, just waiting to bulldoze itself in, look with constant, steady gaze on Jesus. Even when your words seem to fail you, when prayer seems out of your reach, let your mind linger heavily on the Son of God. He is present in Spirit and in Truth and will not let you be taken by the enemy. You do not have to see Him; He sees you.
In my utter weakness Lord, with blurry eyes even, I looked to You, my fortress and help and You helped me. Amen!
