WHIT MONDAY – When the disciples of Jesus were baptized with His baptism, the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire, they were a visibly changed set of disciples. The power of the Holy Ghost was ablaze in their hearts and on their lips. When Peter stood up with the eleven, to address the ignorance of those who did not know about God’s promise of the Holy Ghost, the fire of the Holy Ghost so enabled Peter to speak, his listeners were convicted and converted. On that first Pentecost outpouring, about three thousand believers were added to Christ’s band of disciples. Is the Holy Ghost any less powerful in those He enables? I think not!
God’s inspired Word still changes lives. Amen!
