Be Humble

BE HUMBLE – Humility is who Jesus was and still is. Jesus, although He was God, never puffed up Himself or was arrogant in His dealings with others. We must vigorously and consciously guard against haughtiness and pride. We must never ever think of ourselves more highly than we ought. Let our faith dictate our sober-mindedness and genuine love. If Jesus, in the service of His Heavenly Father, humbled Himself then who are we to think that we can be and do otherwise? No servant is to be above his or her Lord.

 

Father, I delight to be in Your service. Teach me daily humility please. Amen!
