Body Of Death

BODY OF DEATH – As we grow in faith, we become increasingly aware of the evil of self. We begin to understand more and more, why Jesus insisted that all who would follow Him, must deny self. Sinful self and the body of death, are one and the same. Sin is forever lurking at your door and the one and only way to overcome this sinful self, this body of death is through great humility and tears before the Lord, all the time. As you read the suggested text, you will learn from the Apostle Paul, who found the secret of overcoming the body of death.

 

Holy Father, teach us how to serve You with humility and tears. Amen!
