LOVE BEYOND UNDERSTANDING – Who can understand the Love of Jesus for us sinners? Why should He love us so? What gain is there for Him in such love? He is no respecter of place, or person, when it comes to finding His own. If I’m lost in a liquor shop, Jesus comes there to get me. If I’m lost in any miry pit, He climbs down to bring me up. O what Love! Love that dares to be called by my wretched name and look as filthy as I, just to save me. Love that gives Himself willingly, to save the sinner.
Forgive me Jesus, for my self-righteous, proud and egotistic ways, which have led me away from You. Your love for me is so strong, You will not let me remain lost. Thanks for coming to where I am, to save and rescue me. Amen!
